Prepare Excel documents for printing

Preparing an Excel document for print can help make sure only the most relevant data is printed without printing extra cells or blank pages.
Follow these steps to setup a printing area for Excel documents in SPbinder:
Open the Excel document in the Document Viewer. Then, select
PAGE LAYOUT
and
Print Area
.
On the left panel, select the
Expand
+ icon to view all options. Go to your
Sheet Name
(for example, Sheet 1)
Page Setup
, then
Sheet
.
In the
Print area
field, enter/verify your print area according to the cells that will be printed.
Select
Close
to close the window. Your Excel document will now only print the selected cells.
Scale to Fit
On the left panel, select the
Page Setup
, then select
Landscape
.
To print your worksheet on a single page, select
Fit to pages
, select
1 page
in the
Width
field and
1 page
in the
Height
field.
Keep in mind, however, that the printout may be difficult to read because Excel shrinks the data to fit. To see how much scaling is used, select
Print Preview
.
