Acceptance Validation: //ns:ReturnState/ns:ReturnDataState/ns:FormPPT/ns:NetWorthComputation/ns:DisregardedEntity/ns:SingleMemberID/ns:SSN: 'If DEParentSubject is not populated and SingleMemberID/SSN (PPT PartA3 Line 10b) is populated then attach a PDF named DEIncomeLoss.pdf that includes the following: Schedule C, Schedule C-EZ, Schedule E, or Schedule F from the individual owner's tax return (or the federal individual income tax return named Federal.pdf).' (rule ALPPT-023b).
If your Alabama Form PPT includes multiple federal schedules (such as Schedule C and Schedule F), you need to attach a PDF detailing those schedules.

Solution

  1. Decide which of the following you will attach:
    • A PDF titled
      DEIncomeLoss.pdf
      that includes Schedule, Schedule C-EZ, Schedule E, and/or Schedule F, or
    • A copy of the Federal 1040 titled
      Federal.pdf
      .
  2. Go to the Federal Form view.
  3. Save the schedules or form as a PDF using the names in step 1.
  4. Select
    Edit
    .
  5. Select
    Electronic Filing Attachment
    .
  6. Attach the PDF to the Alabama return using the same PDF name as the document.
  7. Recreate and retransmit the return.
