Repaid unemployment compensation

Unemployment Compensation statements are in the
Income
screen in the Income folder. The unemployment compensation repaid is subtracted from the unemployment compensation received and "Repaid" is entered on Form 1040, Schedule 1, line 19.
Repaid unemployment compensation that was included in gross income in an earlier year is deductible on Schedule A as another miscellaneous deduction subject to 2% of adjusted gross. Enter the repayments in the
A
screen in the
Itemized Deductions
folder.
