Screen CAPOA - California Power of Attorney (1040)

Overview

Use this screen to enter the general, representative / appointee and other information for the designation of a representative for specific tax matters and/or to revoke a designation.
If you completed federal Screen POA, UltraTax CS transfers the federal representative data from federal POA Screen to this screen. Transferred data may be changed, as needed. Enter data in one of the following fields to generate Form 3520 PIT, California Individual Power of Attorney Declarations:
  • All years authorized
  • Specific years authorized
  • Other authorized acts
To generate Form 3520 RVK, Power of Attorney Declaration Revocation, choose
RVK
 from the
Form to print
 field.
Form 3520 BE, Business Entity or Group Nonresident Power of Attorney Declaration is located in the Non-Calculating folder.
If applicable, enter
Apt
 for Apartment or
Ste
 for Suite as part of Representative’s address.
Apt
 and
Ste
 must be preceded and followed by a space.
Example:
