Overview

Use this screen to complete nonresident / part-year information or to calculate a Nonresident Professional Athlete return.

State Residency Dates

Use this section to enter dates for part-year residents.
Enter the dates the taxpayer and/or spouse were residents of Louisiana in these fields.
Use these fields to indicate which spouse qualifies as the nonresident military spouse and the amount of income to be excluded.

Nonresident Professional Athlete

Use this section to enter data needed to calculate Form IT-540B-NRA, Louisiana Nonresident Professional Athlete.
When this field is marked, UltraTax/1040-LA calculates the return based on the rules for Nonresident Professional Athletes.
Data entered in these fields will be used to calculate Louisiana Schedule NRA-1, Team Compensation and Duty Day Detail.
Enter data on a team-by-team basis. Enter non-consecutive duty days as "Various."
For nonresident professional athlete returns, use this field to enter all other Louisiana source income. Amounts entered in this field will be combined with the calculated amount shown on the Schedule NRA-1.

For part-year and nonresident returns, use these fields only when completing the
