Overview

Use this screen to complete Form R-2868. If information transferred from UltraTax/1040 doesn't require additional data or coding, UltraTax/1040-LA shows the information on the form only, not in the input screen.

Extension Information

Use this section to calculate Form R-2868, Application for Extension of Time to File Louisiana Individual Income Tax and extend the due date of the return.

  • Calculates the extension payment amount and enters it in this field, and
  • Prints this amount on the main return, not on the extension.
Alternatively, you can overrule the calculated amount by entering the amount actually paid with the current-year extension in this field. UltraTax CS then shows the new amount in black.
