Mark a return as superseding

A superseding return is a corrected Federal return filed within the filing period (including extensions). For example, for a calendar year-end partnership, if you originally filed an extended return with the IRS on June 1, and had to file a corrected return on or before September 15, , the return is a superseding return.
To indicate the Federal return is a superseding return, mark the
Superseding return
field in the 1065 screen in the General folder. UltraTax CS prints
Superseding Return
on Form 1065, Page 1, and on Schedule K-1 for all partners.
