Print the Engagement Letter for clients

You can print the Engagement Letter 3 ways.
  • You can print the engagement letter with a client's tax return. Select
    Setup
    ,
    1120 Corporation
    ,
    Other Return Options
    , the
    Client Documents
     tab, then mark the
    Print engagement letter with return
     checkbox. The engagement letter prints with the government collation by default.
  • You can use the Business Organizer to prepare engagement letters for clients. Select
    Setup
    ,
    1120 Corporation
    , the
    Organizer
     tab, then mark the
    Print Engagement Letter
     checkbox.
  • You can print the engagement letter for a number of clients at one time using Data Mining. To access Data Mining, select
    Utilities
     then
    Data Mining
    . You can access Data Mining in the prior-year application if Data Mining hasn't been released for the current year.
  1. In the Data Mining window, select
    1120 Corporation
     from the
    Client database
     dropdown and select
    Continue
     (Step 2).
  2. In the
    Print Selection and Client Search: 1120 Corporation
     window, select
    Letters
     from the dropdown in the Print selection group box.
  3. Select
    Engagement Letter
     then
    Select
    .
  4. Select
    All corporate clients
     from the
    Search name
     dropdown.
  5. Select
    Continue
     (Step 3) to start the search.
    note
    If you have a large number of clients, the search may take a while.
  6. In the
    Print: All corporate clients
     window, the
    Clients
     tab displays a list of the corporate clients. To print the Engagement Letter to paper, mark the
    Printer
     checkbox in the Print where group box and select
    Print
    .
  7. If you want to email the Engagement Letter to clients who have an email address (entered in the Contact screen), mark the
    Email
     checkbox in the Print where group box and select
    Email/Print
    .
