UltraTax CS will calculate Schedule K-1, Line 17, Code R, when applicable, if you're licensed for the Oil and Gas module. To determine if you're licensed for the module, review the input screens under the
Income & Deductions
folder. If an OGCost and OGWell input screen exists, then the Oil and Gas module has been purchased.If you're not licensed for the Oil and Gas module, then Line 17 of Schedule K-1 will need to be overridden. Keep in mind that this may need to be performed for each shareholder.
