Display a client not showing in the Open Client window

There's a situation where one or more of your clients don't show in the
Open Client
window. When this happens, verify the following focus options.
  1. Make sure you've selected the correct entity.
  2. Make sure that you set
    Preparer/reviewer/staff
    to
    All Preparers
    .
  3. Make sure that you set
    Fiscal Year end
    to
    All Months
    .
  4. Make sure that you set
    Event
    to
    All clients, regardless of status
    .
If you complete the previous steps and still don't see the client, follow these steps:
  1. Select
    Help
    , then
    Repair
    .
  2. Select
    Rebuild Client List
    .
  3. Verify the client is in the list.
If the client is still not in the
Help
, then
Repair
window, the client may not exist or the data may be corrupt. If the client data is corrupt, you should restore from a backup.
