Clients missing from search in Data Mining

Scenario

You may find that clients are missing from your search in Data Mining.

Solution 1: If only 1 client is missing

  1. Print preview the return in UltraTax CS.
  2. In UltraTax CS, go to
    File
    ,
    Client Properties
    ,
    Advanced Properties
    and verify that the
    Deny Data Mining access to client data
    checkbox is clear.

Solution 2: If multiple clients are missing

  1. In UltraTax CS, select
    File
    ,
    Print Returns
    , then select
    UltraTax CS Spool
    .
  2. Select
    Utilities
    , then
    Data Mining
    .
  3. Select
    Help
    , then
    Repair
    .
  4. Select
    Build
    . to rebuild data sharing for your client database.
