Use the IRS Phishing Scams predefined letter

The IRS announced in IR-2014-39 on March 28, 2014 that another large-scale attempt to scam taxpayers was happening and issued another warning to taxpayers about phishing scams. UltraTax CS Data Mining includes a predefined letter called IRS Phishing Scams that you can use to communicate en masse via mail or email to your clients a warning about these types of phishing scams.
That is 1 of over 40 different predefined 1040 individual client letters for client engagements, tax law changes, tax planning services, cross-selling services, updating client demographic information, firm privacy policy, Roth IRA conversions, appointment reminders, extension reminders, estimate due date reminders, retirement plan catch-up contribution reminders, minimum required distribution from traditional IRA reminders, and electronic funds withdrawal (direct debit) reminders, or you can create your own user-defined versions, that you can mail or email to your clients.
Data Mining is a versatile tool that lets you search your UltraTax CS databases for clients with specific characteristics. Using Data Mining, you can identify your client's tax accounting needs, pinpoint tax savings opportunities, and target your client communications effectively, such as appointment reminders, extension reminders, and estimate due date reminders.
