E-file guidelines for Texas Franchise Tax

UltraTax or TX Franchise Tax offers e-filing for 1040, 1120, 1065, and 1041 returns. Enter information in the the
TXELF
screen for an e-filed Texas Franchise Tax return.
E-filing isn't available for the following forms:
  • AP-114 Texas Nexus Questionnaire
  • 05-359 Request for Certificate of Account Status
  • 05-391 Tax Clearance Letter Request for Reinstatement
  • 01-137 Limited Power of Attorney
note
  • An amended return can be submitted via paper only.
  • The following information is required to e-file returns with the state:
    • The taxpayer's webfile number
    • The total revenue amount from the latest return filed by the taxpayer
  • Additional information is available via the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts website.
