Solutions

Verify version of Adobe Reader
Verify that a supported version of Adobe Reader is installed and is set as the default PDF viewer.
Toggle the Adobe add-on
  1. If the Adobe add-on for your internet browser is turned off, turn it on. If it's already turned on, turn it off, then turn it back on.
    1. For Microsoft Internet Explorer, follow the instructions in the Microsoft Support article Manage add-ons in Internet Explorer 11.
    2. For Microsoft Edge, follow the instructions in the Microsoft Support article Add, turn off, or remove extensions in Microsoft Edge.
Disable Sandbox Protections in Adobe Reader DC
  1. Select
    Edit
    ,
    Preferences
    , then
    Security (Enhanced)
    .
  2. Clear the fields in the Sandbox Protections section.
  3. Select
    OK
