No federal products are installed for license.

Solutions

  1. Close all open applications on your computer.
  2. Go to
    X:\WinCSI\LICENSES
    , where X represents the drive to which UltraTax CS is installed.
  3. Right-click on the
    UTYY
    folder and select
    Delete
    to delete the UTYY folder, where YY represents the year of the application.
  4. Right-click on the UltraTax CS desktop icon and select
    Run as administrator
    .
  5. You'll be prompted to enter your
    Firm ID
    and
    PIN
    . Enter your Firm ID and PIN if it's not already pre-populated.
  6. Select
    Connect
    .
  7. Follow the prompts to download and apply your licenses and updates.
If you still get the error after doing the previous steps, try the following:
  1. Open UltraTax CS and select
    Utilities
    then
    CS Connect
    .
  2. Select the
    Retrieve and apply available updates checkbox
    and unmark all other checkboxes.
  3. Select
    Connect
    and follow the prompts to download and apply the updates.
  4. You may get the error message one more time but upon restarting the application, you should no longer get it.
