License expiration and renewal dates

Renew your applications yearly to maintain access to the latest version releases, updates, and technical support. It's best to renew before your license expires to avoid service disruptions.
  • New applications and those renewed with financing may have nonstandard expiration dates. To view your firm's license information, open the application and select Help then About.
  • Technical support is only available if your license is current and not within the grace period. noteThe grace period is a short time when you still have full access to product functionality after your license expires.

UltraTax CS

  • UltraTax CS licenses don't have an expiration date because we release a new application every year.
  • When you renew, you get access to the current version and the previous 8 versions.
  • We add UltraTax CS to all Virtual Office firms regardless of your renewal status. If you haven't renewed, you will be prompted to download your licenses, but it will fail because there aren't any licenses to download.
  • If you also own Fixed Assets CS, FileCabinet CS, Planner CS and/or ToolBox CS, all of your applications will be available for renewal with your UltraTax CS.
