Troubleshoot installation freezing when installing SecurityPolicy.bat

Issues installing SecurityPolicy.bat are usually from administrator permissions or Microsoft .NET Framework.
When installing a CS Professional Suite application, the installation may stop on
securitypolicy.bat
, and the installation process never completes. Re-running the installation as an administrator resolves the majority of these cases. If re-installing as administrator doesn't resolve it, then an issue with Microsoft .NET Framework is likely preventing the installation from completing.
Consult your qualified IT professional when changing any Microsoft components, including Microsoft .NET framework.
Do the following to troubleshoot .NET Framework:
  1. Open Windows Explorer and go to the file
    caspol.exe
    in the
    C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319
    folder.
  2. If
    caspol.exe
    doesn't exist, then .NET Framework 4.0 isn't properly installed. You'll need to re-install it.
  3. If
    caspol.exe
    exists, open the command prompt and enter
    C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319
    then select
    Enter
    on your keyboard.
  4. Enter
    caspol.exe
    then select
    Enter
    on your keyboard.
  5. Check the response. It should be:
    Microsoft .NET Framework CasPol 4.0.30319.18408 for Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.0.30319.18408 Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. ERROR: Not enough arguments For usage information, use 'caspol -?' C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319
  6. Go back to the Windows Explorer.
  7. Copy the
    securitypolicy.bat
    file from
    X:\WinCSI\UTyy\Desktop\Policy
    into the
    C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319
    folder. (yy represents the year of program)
  8. Go back to the command prompt.
  9. Enter
    securitypolicy caspol.exe
    then select
    Enter
    on your keyboard.
  10. Check the response. It should be:
    C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319>CasPol.exe -pp off Microsoft (R) .NET Framework CasPol 4.0.30319.18408 Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. Success C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319>CasPol.exe -rg Creative_Solutions_Group Microsoft (R) .NET Framework CasPol 4.0.30319.18408 Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation.   11. Once you've successfully repaired .NET Framework, re-run the installation as administrator.
