Add or remove due dates for Organizers

Before you send out Individual or Business organizers, you can add or remove due date requirements for your clients to follow.
note
If a global due date exists for organizers and a specific due date is given to an organizer, UltraTax CS will use the specific organizer due date.????

Original text: "If an organizer due date is entered in both Screen Contact and in the Setup > 1040 Individual > Organizer tab, UltraTax CS will use the due date entered on Screen Contact and not the global due date."

All Organizers by entity

To add global entity due dates:
  1. Open the
    Setup
    menu then select your entity.
  2. Open the
    Organizer
    tab.
  3. Mark the
    Due Date to return completed Organizer
    field and choose a due date.
  4. Select
    OK
    .
To remove the due date, repeat these steps and clear the due date field.

Individual Organizer by client

To add due dates:
  1. Open the client's file and select
    View
    then
    Client Organizer
    .
  2. Select the
    General
    folder and open the
    Contact
    tab.
  3. Add the
    Due date for taxpayer to return completed client organizer
    in the Client Organizer and Proforma Options sections.
    note
    If you also have a due date for all 1040 Organizers, the application uses the date you enter here.
To remove the due date, repeat these steps and clear the due date fields.

Business Organizer by client

To add due dates:
  1. Open the client's file and select the
    Organizer
    folder.
  2. Add the
    Due date to return completed organizer
    in the Organizer Options section.

    If you also have a global business entity due date, the application uses the date you enter here.
To remove the due date, repeat these steps and clear the due date field.
