Enter firm information for Web Organizers

When you send a Web Organizer to your clients, it includes a link for them to access their Organizer hosted on Thomson Reuters servers. To use this feature, you'll need to enter your firm's information.

Enter your firm's email address

Before you can transmit Organizers to your clients, you need to enter your firm's email address. This is where you'll receive notifications when your clients have completed their Web Organizers.
Follow these steps to enter your firm's email address:
  1. Select
    Setup
    , then
    Client Communications
    .
  2. Enter the email address in the
    Firm email address
    field.
  3. Select
    Web Delivery Options
    .
  4. Optional: Mark the
    Automatically send an email notification to each client when their Web Organizer or Tax Return is transmitted via CS Connect to their NetClient CS portal
    checkbox.
  5. Select an option from the
    Address email from
    dropdown. You can select the email address for the
    Firm
    ,
    Preparer
    ,
    Reviewer
    or
    Staff
    .
    note
    • Your firm's email address is set globally by default, so the same return email address will apply to everyone in your firm.
    • To edit or add an email address, select
      Setup
      ,
      Office Configuration
      , then the
      Preparers
      ,
      Reviewers
      , or
      Staff
      tab.
    • Returns not assigned to a preparer, reviewer, or staff member will default to using the firm email address as the return address.
    • Returns assigned to preparers, reviewers, or staff members who don't have an email address entered will default to using the firm email address as the return address.
  6. You can blind copy the firm, preparer, reviewer, or staff email address by marking the
    Send a blind copy (BCC) to
    checkbox.
  7. Select
    OK
    to close the
    Web Delivery Options
    window.
  8. Select
    OK
    again to close the
    Client Communications
    window.

Enter your firm's URL

If you prefer, you can also give your clients the option to access their Web Organizer directly from a link on your website.
Follow these steps to have the greeting instruct clients to go to their Web Organizer from a link on your firm's website rather than through the host URL.
  1. Select
    Setup
    then
    Client Communications
    .
  2. Select
    Web Delivery Options
    .
  3. Enter your firm's website address or URL in the Web Delivery section.
  4. Select
    HTML
    to get the HTML tag to add a link on your website.
  5. Select
    OK
    to close the
    Web Delivery Options
    window.
  6. Select
    OK
    again to close the
    Client Communications
    window.
