Get email notifications of completed Web Organizers

The default greeting for the Organizer Web Delivery has a link to the client's online Business Organizer, which Thomson Reuters hosts.
To use Web Business Organizer, you'll need to enter 2 sets of email addresses:
  • The clients' addresses that you send the Web Business Organizer greeting to (entered in Client Communications)
  • The firm's address to receive email notification when completed Web Business Organizers are ready for retrieval.
You can also choose to have your clients access their Web Business Organizer from a link on your website.
note
You cannot process Web Business Organizers for clients who have chosen None as their Organizer delivery method in the Client Communications window, even if they have an email address. To send a Web Business Organizer to these clients, change their Organizer delivery method to Web in the Client Communications window.
Follow these steps to receive an email alert when a client finishes a Web Business Organizer and you can get it through CS Connect.
  1. Select
    Setup
    , then
    Client Communications
    .
  2. Select
    Web Delivery Options
    .
  3. Select the option
    Automatically send an email notification to each client when their Web Organizer or Tax Return is transmitted via CS Connect to their NetClient CS portal
    .
  4. Use the
    Address email from
    dropdown to choose the appropriate return address. You can select Firm, Preparer, Reviewer, or Staff email address.
  5. Select the option
    Receive email notification of completed Web Organizers
    .
  6. Select the Firm, Preparer, Reviewer, and/or Staff checkboxes to include the desired recipients in the email notifications.
  7. Select
    OK
    to close the Web Delivery Options window.
  8. In the Client Communications window, go to
    Firm email address
    and enter the firm return email address
  9. Select
    OK
    to close the screen.
note
  • The return email address is set globally by default so that the same return email address applies to all users.
  • Returns that aren't assigned to a preparer will use the firm's email address as the return address.
  • Returns assigned to preparers, reviewers, or staff members who don't have an email address will use the firm's email address as the return address.
