Not receiving Web organizer email notifications

Consider the following scenarios if you or your client aren't receiving Web Organizer email notifications.

Email notifications aren't enabled

Make sure to enable email notifications before assembling and transmitting Web Organizers. Follow these steps to turn on email notifications:
  1. Select
    Setup
    ,
    Client Communications
    , then
    Web Delivery Options
    .
  2. Mark the
    Automatically send and email notification to each client when their Web Organizer or Tax Return is transmitted via CS Connect to their NetClient CS portal
    checkbox.
Thomson Reuters sends the emails and pushes the Web Organizers every 30 minutes, on the hour and every half hour. For example, if you transmit a Web Organizer via CS Connect at 1:40 PM, Thomson Reuters will push the Web Organizer to the client's portal and also send the email notification that the Web Organizer is available at 2:00 PM. So in this scenario, it would take approximately 20 minutes to receive the email notification.

Problem with client email address

Make sure you've entered the correct email address for the client. Select
Setup
, then
Client Communications
to check the email address entered for the client.

Notifications blocked by email security

Email notifications can be blocked by email security. If you or your client don't receive the Web Organizer email notification within 30 minutes, check your spam or junk folders in your email application.
