Data Sharing Pending Updates dialog

This is the first of two data sharing dialogs that walk you through the process of accepting shared data for the open client. For each pending change to shared data, this dialog lists the data category, the category description such as the client ID that has exported the shared data, the matching TIN in the current client, and the source of the shared data update. You can choose to add a new unit (if needed for the pending data) or to select the Review button and continue to the Data Sharing - Update dialog& where you can decide whether to accept, retain, or postpone the shared data.
To open this dialog, choose Utilities, Data Sharing, then Updates.

Fields & buttons

This column displays the unit that will receive the shared data if accepted. If the unit does not currently exist in the client's return, UltraTax CS displays "New unit" to the right of the category description.
This column displays the name of the client containing the updated data. It also shows the matching TIN of the client that is the source of the data.
This column displays the source client of the data being shared.
Select this button to add a new unit for the current line item's data.
Select this button to discard the unit for the current line item's data.
Select this button to postpone the creation of a new unit for the current line item's data. The next time you access the Data Sharing - Pending Updates dialog, UltraTax CS will prompt you to add a new unit again.
Select this button to postpone all of the categories listed. The next time you access the Data Sharing - Pending Updates dialog, UltraTax CS will prompt you to accept the data again.
Select this button to open the Data Sharing Category Update dialog, which you can use to view the items that will be shared within a specific category.
