Variables dialog (Data Mining)

Use this dialog to embed variables in the custom letters for Data Mining. Variables are replaced with client-specific information during printing. For example, the [client name] variable is replaced with the client's name when you preview, print, or send the letter as an email attachment.
The letters provided with Data Mining already include variables such as client name and address, but you can insert additional variables if necessary. The types of variables that are available include amount, text, date, and input screen.
To open this dialog, you must first access the Document Editing window. To do so, select the Compose Client Letters button in the Print Selection and Client Search dialog, select the New or Open button in the Data Mining Letters dialog, select the desired criteria, and then choose OK. From the Document Editing window, choose Insert then Variable to open the Variables dialog.
