Modify Event Focus dialog

Use this dialog to modify the client status criteria used to focus a list of clients. You can choose to focus on one event or on multiple events at one time. If you choose to focus on multiple events, they will be saved in the
Recent filters
drop-down list.
To open this dialog, select the Modify button adjacent to the Event field in certain dialogs such as the Open Client dialog, the Select Clients to Print dialog, or the Client Status dialog.

Fields & buttons

Select this option if you do not want UltraTax CS to limit the list of clients according to their status.
Use the drop-down list attached to this option to choose Logged, Not logged, Organizer delivery, or Return delivery, then use the
At event
drop-down list to choose an accompanying status event (for Logged / Not logged) or a delivery method (for Organizer& delivery or Return& delivery).
Use the drop-down list attached to this field to choose a status event (if you chose Logged or Not logged in the adjacent field) or a delivery method (if you chose Organizer& delivery or Return& delivery in the adjacent field).
This field's name changes depending on whether you selected Logged or Not Logged from the drop-down list above.
  • Clients logged anytime:
    Select this option to limit the client list to those clients who have had the selected event(s) logged at any point in their status history.
  • All clients not logged:
    Select this option to limit the client list to those clients who have
    never
    logged the selected event(s) logged at any point in their status history.
This field's name changes depending on whether you selected Logged or Not Logged from the drop-down list above.
  • Only if most recently logged event:
    Select this option to limit the client list to those clients who have the selected event(s) as their current status.
  • All clients neither logged nor scheduled:
    Select this option to limit the client list to those clients who do
    not
    have the selected event(s) logged in their status history or scheduled in upcoming events.
This field's name changes depending on whether you selected Logged or Not Logged from the drop-down list above.
  • Logged within the last <n> days:
    Select this option to limit the client list to those clients who have the selected event(s) logged within the specified number of days. Use the accompanying field to specify the desired number of days.
  • Scheduled within the last <n> days:
    Select this option to limit the client list to those clients who have the selected event(s) scheduled within the specified number of days. Use the accompanying fields to specify the desired number of days.
This field's name changes depending on whether you selected Logged or Not Logged from the drop-down list above.
  • Logged between:
    Select this option to limit the client list to those clients who have the selected status event(s) logged between the specified dates. Use the accompanying fields to specify the desired dates.
  • Scheduled between:
    Select this option to limit the client list to those clients who have the selected event(s) scheduled between the specified dates. Use the accompanying fields to specify the desired dates.
Select this button if you want to add multiple criteria to limit the client list. Use the fields to add additional criteria as desired.
Select this option and use the adjacent drop-down list to choose from criteria that you previously specified using this dialog. Note that this field is disabled until you limit the client listing once using the fields above.
This field displays all criteria specified using the fields on this dialog.
