Options dialog (Client Organizer)
Use this dialog to define various print and display settings for client organizers.
To open this dialog, choose Setup > 1040 Individual > Organizer tab, then select the Modify button in the Organizer presentation options group box.
note
Depending on your security configuration, you might be prompted to enter the master password before you can open any entity type's tab.
Fields & buttons
Classic Client Organizer
Select this option to print traditional organizer pages for all clients. When this option is selected, Lite Client Organizer pages do not print, unless they are marked
Always
in the print collation.Client Organizer Checklist
Select this option to print the Client Organizer Checklist for all clients. When this option is selected, neither Classic nor Lite Organizer pages print.
Lite Client Organizer pages plus other pages in classic format
Select this option to print Lite Client Organizer pages for clients whose data meets Lite Client Organizer limitations. Lite Client Organizer pages will print for clients who meet the "Number of Printable Items" limitation. Tax subjects not included in Lite Client Organizer pages, such as business, rentals, farms, and autos, will print on Classic Client Organizer pages.
Force Lite pages even when client does not meet Lite criteria
This checkbox is associated with the
Lite Client Organizer pages plus other pages in classic format
option.Mark this checkbox to print qualifying client data on Lite Client Organizer pages and any additional information on Classic Organizer pages for all clients. Doing this will force UltraTax CS to ignore "Number of Printable Items" as a qualifying limitation for printing Lite Client Organizer pages and only the data that fits will print. Items not printed are retained for tax processing.
Lite Client Organizer pages for clients who meet Lite criteria
Select this option to print Lite Client Organizer pages for clients whose data meets Lite Client Organizer limitations. Clients who meet the qualifying number of printable items will receive only the Lite Client Organizer packages. These clients will not receive Classic Client Organizer for tax subjects not included in the Lite Client Organizer (such as business, rentals, farms, and autos) even if the client contains such data. Clients with data that exceeds the number of printable items will receive the Classic Client Organizer package. If you would like to use the lite version and provide pages for business, rentals, farms, and autos, use the
Lite Client Organizer pages plus other pages in the classic format
option.note
To qualify for Lite Client Organizer pages, a client's Organizer data cannot exceed the number of spaces allotted for a given item (such as income items) on the Lite Client Organizer pages.
