Open Form dialog (Source Data Entry)

Use this dialog to access source document information that was previously entered in Source Data Entry and postponed or exported to UltraTax CS. To view or edit this information, highlight the appropriate entry in the list and select the Open button.
To open this dialog, choose File then Open Form in UltraTax CS Source Data Entry.

Fields & buttons

Use this drop-down list to select the location where the desired source data files are stored. These data locations are defined on the Setup, System Configuration, Data Locations tab.
This tab lists each source document you or your staff have entered for each client, and is sorted by the clients' Taxpayer Identification Numbers (TINs). The left pane lists all clients for whom you have entered source document information. Use this pane to select the client whose source documents you want to view in the right pane. To view and edit the information for a specific source document, select the desired form and select Open.
This tab lists all source documents that have been entered via Source Data Entry. Select the following column headings to sort the documents: Recipient TIN, Form, Name, Date Entered, Status, and User ID. To view and edit the information for a specific source document, select the desired form and select Open.
Use the Focus group box to filter the list by exported or postponed documents, the date entered, documents entered manually or via FileCabinet CS Source Document Processing, and/or the ID of the user who entered the data.
