Office Setup dialog

Use this dialog to create additional UltraTax CS office profiles for use in multi-branch firms or firms with multiple separate offices. UltraTax CS office profiles enable separate branches of the same firm to better administer staff profiles, setup options, client document customizations, and so on. By creating individual office profiles, each branch can manage its own configuration options and internal procedures without affecting the other offices in the firm.&
To open this dialog, choose&
Setup then Office Configuration
and select the Office Setup button.&

Fields & buttons

This list pane contains the office profiles previously created in UltraTax CS. To add additional office profiles, select the
Add item
row and enter the profile name for the new office. To remove an office profile, select the Delete Office button.
Select this button to remove an office profile that was previously created for your firm. Note that you cannot delete the default office profile.
Select this button to open the Transfer Configurable Files dialog, which you can use to move user configurable items (such as custom transmittal letters or slipsheets) from one data path to another. For example, multiple branches of the same firm that share an installation of UltraTax CS can copy customized elections, filing instructions, and invoice pricing from one branch to all other branches.
Select this button to open the Reassign Preparers/Reviewers/Staff dialog, which you can use to move preparer, reviewer, or staff profiles between existing office profiles.
