FileCabinet CS tab or GoFileRoom tab

If you are licensed for FileCabinet CS:
Use this tab to configure options related to the backup of client data to FileCabinet CS, and the inclusion of FileCabinet CS source documents in tax returns. You can change this default or customize the settings using the fields on this tab.
If you are licensed for GoFileRoom:
Use this tab to open the UltraTax/GoFileRoom Configuration dialog, which you can use to determine how documents printed from UltraTax CS will be stored in GoFileRoom. Note that if you are licensed for GoFileRoom, most of the fields on this tab are disabled.
To open this tab, choose Setup, Office& Configuration, and select the FileCabinet CS or GoFileRoom tab.

Fields & buttons

Mark this checkbox to create an empty UltraTax CS folder in FileCabinet CS (if licensed) whenever you add or proforma a new client. The new folder is created in the FileCabinet CS data location that is associated with the UltraTax CS data location to which you add or proforma UltraTax CS clients. To set up UltraTax CS and FileCabinet CS data locations, choose Setup, Configuration, then Data Locations.
Mark this checkbox to print the K1 package for a 1120, 1065, or 1041 return to the recipient's drawer in FileCabinet CS. (Note that the recipient must also be an UltraTax CS client.) If this checkbox is marked, you will see an additional line for the K1 package which will be sent to the recipient drawer when you print the return from UltraTax CS to FileCabinet CS.
Mark this checkbox to send each recipient's Schedule K-1 package to a separate drawer in FileCabinet CS. When you print a business return to FileCabinet CS, the application will add a Packages drawer under the business client's current year UltraTax CS drawer, and will store each recipient's K1 package as a separate document in that drawer. If this checkbox is not marked, the K1 packages will remain part of the US Tax Return document for the business client, and will not be separated by recipient or printed to the Packages drawer.

Include Source documents in client copy of tax return group box

Mark the checkboxes for those delivery methods (
Web
,
Email PDF
,
PDF to File
, or
Paper
) in which you want to include source documents from FileCabinet CS with the client copy of the return. You can mark any or all of the checkboxes.
Mark this checkbox to include all of the documents in the "UltraTax 12/31/14" folder in FileCabinet CS (other than embedded documents or integrated application files) as source documents with the client copy of the tax return when it is delivered.
Mark this checkbox and then choose the Select Folder button to specify a custom FileCabinet CS folder containing the source documents you want to include with the client copy of the return when it is delivered.
Select this button to open the Select Folder dialog, which lists all existing FileCabinet CS folders. Select the folder containing the desired source documents to include those documents with the client copy of the return when it is delivered.

Data backups group box

Mark this checkbox if you want UltraTax CS to automatically back up your clients' data to FileCabinet CS whenever each client's data is closed or proforma'd in UltraTax CS.
Select this button to open the Backup Options dialog, which you can use to set your preferences for backing up UltraTax CS client data to FileCabinet CS.
Select this button to open the UltraTax/GoFileRoom Configuration dialog, which you can use to determine how documents printed from UltraTax CS will be stored in GoFileRoom. Note that you will be prompted to enter your GoFileRoom login and password to open the UltraTax/GoFileRoom Configuration dialog.
