States dialog

Use this dialog to select the states for which UltraTax CS will automatically create an electronic file for applicable returns. UltraTax CS will create an electronic file for any state return that is marked on this dialog. By default, the checkboxes for all installed state applications will be marked. If you are not authorized to file state returns electronically or if you want to suppress the creation of the electronic file for some or all state returns, clear the checkbox next to the applicable state(s). States' electronic filing coordinators can provide authorization information. More information on configuring Electronic Filing options.
If you are not authorized to file returns electronically, the taxing authority will reject the electronic file. If this occurs, you will need to contact the state electronic filing coordinator.
To open this dialog, choose Setup ,Office& Configuration, E-Filing tab, and then select the States button.

Fields & buttons

Mark the state checkboxes to allow creation of an electronic file for those state returns. Clear the checkbox to suppress creation of the electronic file. UltraTax CS will create an electronic file for any state return that is marked.
