Data Locations tab

Use this tab and the Add Data Location dialog to add or edit additional data locations if you have multiple branches or office share licensees who are sharing the same installation of UltraTax CS. Any firm can add additional data paths, but it is rarely necessary in a single firm. Firms with multiple branches or office share licensees can use separate data paths to enable each branch to maintain separate configurable items like client documents or invoice pricing.
To open this tab, choose Setup then System Configuration, then select the Data Locations tab.

Fields & buttons

This list displays any additional data paths that you have added to UltraTax CS. To remove a data path from this list, highlight it and select the Delete button. To add a data path, select the Add Data Location button.
Select this button to open the Add Data Location dialog, which you can use to create an additional data path for UltraTax CS.

Select this button to open the Modify Data Location dialog, which you can use to edit the paths or descriptions for any existing data locations.
Select this button to remove a data path from the Data Locations list.
Select this button to change the location of the UltraTax CS system configuration folder.
