Add / Modify Data Location dialog

Use this dialog to add additional data locations if you have multiple branches or office share licensees who are sharing the same installation of UltraTax CS.
To open this dialog, select the Add Data Location button on the Setup, System Configuration, then Data Locations tab.

Fields & buttons

Use this field to enter or edit the description for this group of data paths. The name entered here is used in the Data Location drop-down lists on various dialogs (such as New Client, Proforma, Restore, and Open Client) that allow you to change the current data location.
Use the Enter Path button next to this field to browse to the appropriate location for storing UltraTax CS data. Once you have chosen the location being added, that path will be displayed in this field.
Use the Enter Path button next to this field to browse to the appropriate location for storing depreciation data. Once you have chosen the location being added, that path will be displayed in this field.
This field is available only if you are licensed for FileCabinet CS and have it installed. Select the FileCabinet CS data location that you want to associate with the selected UltraTax CS data location. The path selected here will be used as the default FileCabinet CS path on the Print dialogs. To add additional FileCabinet CS data locations, refer to the FileCabinet CS online help.
Use these buttons to browse to the appropriate locations for storing UltraTax CS and depreciation data. Once you have chosen the location being added, the new paths will be displayed in the
UltraTax CS data location
and
Fixed Assets CS data location
fields.
