Watch Fields dialog
Use this dialog to modify or delete watch fields, or to restore the default watch fields and descriptions. To add new fields, right-select in the desired field in form view and choose Watch Field from the context menu.
The values in watched fields are displayed in the Federal Diagnostics window in the Watch tab.
You can open this dialog in one of two ways.
- Select the Watch Fields button in any federal Product Information dialog. Note that you can edit or modify watch fields, but cannot add new watch fields if you access the dialog in this manner.
- Right-select in any federal form field and choose Watch Field from the context menu. Note that if you use this method, the dialog that opens will be called Add Watch Field, and you can use the dialog to create new watch fields. If you right-select and choose Watch Field in a form field that is already watched, the dialog that opens will be called Edit Watch Field.
Fields & buttons
Watch field list
Lists all current watched fields, including those that are watched by default.
- To restore all default fields and descriptions to this list, select the Restore Default button.
- To edit a description, highlight the desired field in the list, select the Edit button, and use theDescriptionfield to make the necessary changes.
- To delete a watch field from the list, highlight the desired field and select the Delete button.
Description
Use this field to enter descriptions for new watch fields or to edit descriptions for existing watch fields.
Move Up / Move Down buttons
Select the Move Up and Move Down buttons to move the highlighted watch field higher or lower in the watch field list. This list determines the order of the fields in the Watch tab in the Federal Diagnostics window.
Restore Default button
Select this button to restore the default watch fields and descriptions to the watch field list.
