My Settings tab

Use the My Settings tab to select the desired office profile and data locations for the current user, and to specify the default preparer, reviewer, and staff that will be assigned to new clients added by this user.&
To open this dialog, choose Setup then User Preferences and select the My Settings tab.

Fields & buttons

Choose the office profile to which the user belongs from this drop-down list. The office profiles displayed here are created via the Setup, Office Configuration, then Office Setup dialog.
Choose the desired data location from this drop-down list. The data locations displayed here are created via the Setup, System Configuration, then Data Locations tab.
To set up a default preparer, select a preparer from the drop-down list. All clients subsequently added to the application from this computer will automatically be assigned to this preparer in the File then New Client dialog. You can change the preparer in either the New Client or Client Properties dialog.
To set up a default reviewer, select a reviewer from the drop-down list. All clients subsequently added to the application from this computer will automatically be assigned to this reviewer in the File then New Client dialog. You can change the preparer in either the New Client or Client Properties dialog.
To set up a default staff member, select a staff member from the drop-down list. All clients subsequently added to the application from this computer will automatically be assigned to this staff member in the File then New Client dialog. You can change the staff member in either the New Client or Client Properties dialog.
