Client Complexity dialog

The Client Complexity Factor is a numeric value assigned to a client's tax return that represents the time and effort involved in preparing that return. This feature is designed to help you assess your firm's workload, and can be helpful in determining return preparation fees, assigning work to your staff, or in formulating staff schedules.
Use the Client Complexity dialog to define your own custom complexity values for specific returns, forms, and schedules. You can also set custom complexity values for other aspects of a client's tax return, such as the number of shareholders, partners, or assets included in the return. Note that UltraTax CS includes default values for all of these factors; this dialog is provided for you to override those defaults with your own custom values if you so desire.
To open this dialog, choose Setup then [Entity], select the Federal tab, and then select the Client Complexity button.
