Search Results dialog (Data Mining)

After you select a search from the Print Selection and Client Search dialog and select the Continue (Step 3) button, Data Mining reacts in one of two ways.
  • If no clients passed the search, the Search Results dialog automatically opens.
  • If one or more clients passed the search, the Print dialog opens where you can print letters and reports, assemble eSignature documents, email letters, or view the search results. To view the search results, select the Search Results button.

Fields & buttons

Results by Search Criteria
- This tab displays the number of clients who pass and fail each search criterion. Search criteria are numbered in the Item column and named in the Description column. The Passed column shows how many clients have each search criterion in their data, and the Failed column shows how many clients do not have the criterion in their data. At the bottom of the Passed and Failed columns, Data Mining displays the total number of clients who passed and failed the search.
Results by Client
- This tab displays the search results for each client in the database. Clients are numbered and listed by client ID and client name. The Passed column indicates whether or not the client passed the search. Each remaining column is numbered for the search criteria, as shown in the Item column of the Search Criteria tab. The letter Y or N in a column indicates whether or not a client's data includes that search criterion.
If no clients passed the search, select this button to return to the Print Selection and Client Search dialog, where you can specify another search to perform. If one or more clients passed the search, select this button to return to the Print dialog where you can assemble eSignature documents and specify letters and reports to print or email.
