Print If dialog (Data Mining)
Use this dialog to enable text to print only if the client's data meets specified criteria. For example, you can have one letter with many different chunks of text that apply only to a specific sub-sets of your clients, such as clients with qualified dividends, clients who were victims of identify left, and clients who are eligible for a health insurance credit. Then, you can complete a Data Mining search to identify clients that meet specific criteria. If you select a document to which you added criteria-based text, and clients pass the search and meet the criteria you set for the text, the appropriate text will be printed for the correct clients.

Criteria-based text is preceded by a "Begin if" line and followed by an "End if" line, so that you know where the criteria-based statement begins and ends. To remove a print-if condition but keep the text, delete the "Begin if" line that precedes the text and the "End if" line that follows it. For more information about adding print conditions, see Adding criteria-based print conditions.
To open this dialog, highlight the appropriate text in the open document in the Document Editing window in Data Mining, and then choose Format then Print If.
