CS Connect Options

Use the CS Connect Options tab to select the tasks to complete when you connect to our secure data centers. Refer to the following categories for details on specific tasks.

Per Return Pricing

You'll need to purchase a PRP code to file state or federal returns if you don’t have an unlimited license for that return type. You can buy PRP codes and install initial state releases for PRP use via CS Connect. You can't file a PRP state before installing the release and buying the PRP code.

Web Delivery

You can send electronic copies of returns and organizers to NetClient CS. NetClient CS is a separately licensed product that lets you create private, secure logins for your clients to view their tax documents online. These options are only available if your firm has a NetClient CS license.

You can get signatures from your clients using eSignature on a variety of documents, such as Form 8879 or engagement letters. After assembling and transmitting documents to your clients, retrieve updated eSignature status and documents through CS Connect. You can send engagement letters and consent forms with either the organizer or the tax return.

Licenses

By default, CS Connect Background Services will download and apply application updates automatically. If this feature is turned off, you can manually download updates as they become available. You can also download your licenses for the 1st time, or download a new copy of your licenses if you've made any recent changes.
