Reset Onvio Link
This feature is intended for use in scenarios where your UltraTax CS client has unexpectedly matched with an existing Onvio client due to having the same email address(es) and/or TINs. Use this button to break the match between the two clients. Manually update the email address or TIN within your UltraTax CS or Onvio client or contact and then attempt to populate or print the client from UltraTax CS to Onvio again.

Rebuild Data Sharing button
Select this button to rebuild the client export files that contain the shared data for
all
UltraTax CS clients. Use this button
only
if there is a problem with data sharing. If at any time you disable the data sharing feature, you will be required to rebuild the data sharing files when you turn it back on.
note
Rebuilding data sharing will take some time. The more client data files you have in UltraTax CS, the longer this process will take.
After rebuilding the data sharing files, you will be required to print returns for all clients for whom you want to share data. We recommend printing to spool for this process.
If you are using the network version of UltraTax CS, all users must close all clients stored in the current directory before you can rebuild data sharing.
To rebuild data sharing for only one client at a time, select the Rebuild Data Sharing button in the Client: [name] group box in this tab.

Rebuild ELF Status button
UltraTax CS tracks the status of each electronic filing client and displays this status in the Electronic Filing Status dialog. To open this dialog, choose Utilities then Electronic Filing Status. If the file that tracks these events becomes corrupt, rebuilding the file will reset it to the correct information. Should this happen, select this button to rebuild the electronic filing status for your client's data.

Proforma State(s) button

note
Rebuilding data sharing will take some time, though it is faster to rebuild a single client's data sharing files than to rebuild data sharing for all clients.
After rebuilding the data sharing files for the highlighted client, you will be required to print the client's tax return. We recommend printing to spool for this process.
