License Disk tab
Use this tab to create a backup copy of the most recent versions of your UltraTax CS application licenses.
To open this tab, choose Help then Repair, and select the License Disk tab.
note
- Depending on your security configuration, you might be required to enter the master password and select OK before you can open the Repair dialog.
- The license file you create will also contain the most recent versions of any license you have for FileCabinet CS, Fixed Assets CS, Planner CS, and ToolBox CS.
Fields & buttons
Source location group box
Displays the folder location of the license files that will be copied to the destination location along with the licenses themselves. The UltraTax CS installation location appears in this field by default. If necessary, select the Browse button to navigate to the appropriate source location.
The total size of the license files is also displayed, along with the disk space needed to store those files.
note
If you are running UltraTax CS through Virtual Office CS or Software as a Service (SaaS), you can navigate to files on your local network.
Destination location group box
Displays the folder location where the license files will be created. The C:\ drive appears in this field by default. If necessary, enter the location where you want to create the UltraTax CS license disk or select the Browse button to navigate to the appropriate location.
The total disk capacity and disk space available on the selected destination location are also displayed. If you change the destination location, select the Refresh button to update this information.

If you are running UltraTax CS through Virtual Office CS or Software as a Service (SaaS), you can navigate to files on your local network.
Refresh button
After choosing a new destination location or inserting an external storage device into the selected drive, select this button to refresh the information on the capacity and space available.
Create License Disk button
After you have confirmed the correct source and destination locations, select this button to copy the UltraTax CS application licenses to the location specified in the Destination location field.
