Custom Statement dialog
Use this window to set up a custom statement for any box that:
- Is not anActivity unit numberbox for multiple-unit input screens.
- Does not have a fieldview attached, as indicated by an arrow.
- Does not already have an attached statement window, as indicated by the Statement window.
When adding a custom statement:
To open this window, place the cursor in a box that meets the above criteria, and then select Edit, then Custom Statements.When editing an existing custom statement:
To open this window, place the cursor in the box, select Edit, Edit Statement to open the statement window, and then select Properties from the Statement menu.note
Once you set up a custom statement, it is automatically attached to any client subsequently opened for processing, and to all clients subsequently added to or proforma'd into UltraTax CS. Once a custom statement is attached to a client, it cannot be removed in the current year.
Fields and buttons
Enter custom statement title (required)
Enter the title you want for this custom statement, or edit the existing title. This title appears on the statement when you print it.
Select a format for this statement
From the dropdown list attached to this box, select one of six predefined formats for this custom statement.
Note that the number in parentheses following Description represents the number of characters you can enter in the statement's

Tips
- If you selectnonefrom this dropdown list, this custom statement will not be attached to clients subsequently added to UltraTax CS, nor to existing clients who do not already have the statement attached.
- If you change the format selected here, the change automatically applies to the open client and to all other clients the next time you open themunlessyou change from a predefined format tonone. (See the above tip for details on changing tonone.)
