The UltraTax CS Source Data Entry utility lets you enter data on facsimile versions of the following forms that your clients submit for the preparation of their 1040 Individual tax returns.

Once the facsimile forms are complete, you can export the data to UltraTax CS and accept it into your 1040 client data files via the data sharing feature.
In addition to entering 1040 client data on facsimile versions of forms, you can export completed Schedule K-1 information and accept it into your 1065 and 1120S client data files. Also, you can export completed information for both Schedule K-1 and Form 1099-R and accept it into your 1041 client data files.

Using the Source Data Entry utility

The Source Data Entry utility is designed to be used in conjunction with UltraTax CS, but can be launched separately via the UltraTax CS Source Data Entry shortcut on your desktop. You do not need to have UltraTax CS installed locally to use the Source Data Entry utility.
