Retrieve a completed Web Organizer

Follow these steps to retrieve a completed Web Organizer.
  1. Select
    CS Connect
    in the toolbar.
  2. Set
    Web Delivery: ($) Retrieve completed organizers
    to
    Yes
    .
  3. Select
    Connect
    .
After you acknowledge the
Call Summary
window, the
Web Organizer (Retrieve)
window opens. All completed Web Organizers are automatically retrieved.

Notifications of retrieved data

You'll receive a notification by default when you open a return that includes pending organizer data to retrieve or discard. If you turned off this option and would like to turn it on it again, follow these steps:
  1. Select
    Setup
    , then
    User Preferences
    .
  2. Select the
    Data Entry
    tab.
  3. Mark the
    Inform me when retrieved data is present when a client is opened
    checkbox.
  4. Select
    OK
    .

Retrieve file attachments

Web Organizer attachments don't import into UltraTax CS. Follow these steps to retrieve file attachments from Web Organizers using FileCabinet CS.
  1. During the data retrieval process, UltraTax CS automatically sends any Web Organizer file attachments to FileCabinet CS. When the retrieval is complete, the
    FileCabinet CS Documents
    window opens and lists the names of the file attachments. Rename any of the file names as needed, then select
    OK
    .
  2. Open the client's file in FileCabinet CS and go to their
    UltraTax CS 12/31/yy
    folder to view the attachments.
