Prepare and send eSignature documents

You can prepare and send eSignature documents from UltraTax CS in several different ways:
  • With the Organizer.
  • With the Tax Return.
  • With Data Mining.
  • For FinCEN Form 114a only.
  • For Form 8878 with a 1040, 1065, or 1120 extension.
After you prepare and send the eSignature document, the client will receive the following:
  1. An email notification that a document is available in their portal.
  2. An email notification that it's available to sign.
  3. A notification to register for their Onvio Client Center Access account if they've not registered.
Do the following if your customer doesn't receive these notifications:
  • Check the
    Client Communications
    screen in the UltraTax CS
    Setup
    menu to make sure the client's email is correct.
  • Have the customer check their Spam folder.
