Link an account

If you currently have more than 1 registered and active portal, you can consolidate their portals under a single email address, sign in, and password. Do the following to link accounts:
  1. Sign into your account using the email and password you want to retain.
  2. Select your name then select
    Manage Linked Accounts
    .
  3. Select
    Add Linked Account
    .
  4. Enter the email and password for the account you'd like to link to.
  5. Select
    Link Account
    .
Once successfully linked, you'll have a new option to switch between the accounts. Select your name then select
Manage Linked Accounts
to access the
Manage Linked Accounts
screen. From there, you can edit the following:
  • Display Name
    - Update the display name to ensure it's easily recognizable.
  • Set as default
    (open first) - Select this option to determine which account is opened when you sign in.
  • Show in list
    - Unselect this option if you want to hide the linked account from the account switching menu.
Linked accounts with access to Virtual Office CS or Virtual Client Office
When you open an application and receive the “Sign in to Virtual Office CS” prompt, use your Thomson Reuters Account credentials to sign in. If you are launching an application from a non-default portal, make sure not to use the default email address associated with your linked accounts.
