Assign staff members to security groups

You can use the
Security
tab of the
Staff
screen to assign staff members to your security groups.
  1. Go to
    Setup
    >
    Firm Information
    >
    Staff
    .
  2. Select the
    Security
    tab.
  3. Mark or clear the checkboxes in
    Members of Groups
    to include or exclude staff from groups. Staff can be assigned to multiple groups. The highest security privileges among the groups will apply.
  4. View the privileges in the
    Privileges
    section for each tab. Privileges can't be modified here. Adjust them in
    Setup
    >
    Firm Information
    >
    Security Groups
    .
  5. Select
    Reset Password
    to prompt the selected staff member to change their password upon next sign in. Only administrators or staff with privileges can perform this action.
