Change the status of a staff member to inactive

When a staff member leaves your company or no longer needs access to the application, you can turn off their account. This removes their staff ID from all assignment lists in the application. Remember, you can't delete client staff who have created records, but you can make them inactive.
Follow these steps to deactivate a staff member:
  1. Select
    Setup
    , then
    Firm Information
    .
  2. Choose
    Staff
    or
    Client Staff
    (for Virtual Office CS or Software as a Service (SaaS) users).
  3. Select the
    Main
    tab.
  4. Find and highlight the staff member's name in the list.
  5. Select
    Edit
    .
  6. Mark the
    Inactive
    checkbox in the Identification section.
  7. Select
    Enter
    to save your changes.
