At Thomson Reuters security isn't just a feature; it's the foundation of our promise to our customers

Thomson Reuters (TSX/NYSE: TRI) informs the way forward by bringing together the trusted content and technology that professionals and organizations need to make the right decisions. Our company serves customers across legal professionals, tax and accounting, risk, fraud and compliance, government, and media, and we continue to work toward improving our cybersecurity posture.

We're excited to declare our investment to secure FedRAMP Authorization for CLEAR, Westlaw, and Practical Law products. By harmonizing our operations with FedRAMP's detailed protocol for security evaluation, approval, and ongoing oversight, we're taking a proactive approach to address the complexities of the current digital environment.

Our Cyber Security team is driven by the conviction that our customers are central to everything we do, aiming to pave the path forward with reliable content and technology. Our dedication is intertwined with building and sustaining trust with our clientele through the creation and provision of secure offerings. We've implemented a cyber security program, grounded in both the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cyber Security Framework (CSF) - Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), and continuously evaluate ways to safeguard our employees, data, and technological assets to enhance our service to customers.

As we strive for FedRAMP authorization, we resolve to align with the U.S. government's rigorous cloud security standards. This authorization journey underscores our decision and ability to meet stringent security measures to protect our customers' data.

Additionally, we support a multitude of industries, many of which are highly regulated and designated as critical infrastructure for the U.S. Government itself. Today, Thomson Reuters supports more than thousands of state, local, and federal agencies in their law enforcement and homeland security missions. Evidenced in our long-standing partnership with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children®, who continue to utilize our solutions, such as CLEAR, in their critical work.

As we continue our FedRAMP journey, we have engaged the expertise of Fortreum, a leading authority in FedRAMP support services. Fortreum acts as a Third-Party Assessment Organization (3PAO) for a substantial percentage of already Authorized solutions, and have been collaborating with us since the third quarter of 2023 to facilitate our Authorization process.

We anticipate achieving the "In Process" milestone by 2025, with the goal of full FedRAMP Authorization to follow soon after. As we work towards this goal, we invite you to join us in this pivotal chapter. Together, we can forge a partnership built on trust and fortified by federal security requirements. At Thomson Reuters we are looking ahead to prepare for the challenges of tomorrow and; to work towards maintaining the security of your data, now and in the future.
