Thomson Reuters to Host Global Sports Forum for 2015 Rugby World Cup
London – Thomson Reuters, the world’s leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals, announced today that it will be running the Global Sports Forum for Thomson Reuters Eikon Messenger users throughout the 2015 Rugby World Cup. The Forum, the world’s first online sports forum for the financial and professional services industries, will feature news, scoring updates, commentary, interviews and discussion blogs during the World Cup, including commentary from Reuters reporters and editors.
The Global Sports Forum, one of several editorial forums run by Thomson Reuters, is open to anyone with an Eikon Messenger account, which is available standalone free of charge or through Thomson Reuters Eikon. It will go live on 7 September 2015, eleven days prior to the official start of the World Cup on 18 September.

Global Sports Forum participants are eligible for various prizes during the tournament.
Thomson Reuters editorial forums provide users with insights across a number of regions, industries, and asset classes. Individual forums are moderated by Reuters News reporters and editors to ensure that conversation is both informative and relevant. While forums are designed to be interactive, users do have the option of participating with read-only access.
