Annual user conference welcomes professionals from across the globe to learn, network, and connect while experiencing exclusive insights and premier content-enabled technology

DENVER, CO, November 6, 2023 Thomson Reuters (NYSE/TSX: TRI), a global content and technology company, today welcomes customers to its largest annual user conference spanning seven days across the Corporate Legal, Tax and Accounting, and Trade industries. With the highly anticipated event underway, participants can expect exclusive opportunities to connect and learn from industry experts, collect education credits, and hear from two iconic keynote speakers: tennis champion Venus Williams and real estate mogul and Shark Tank investor Barbara Corcoran. Thomson Reuters is also excited to announce GRAMMY® Award-nominated multiplatinum singer and songwriter, Gavin DeGraw, who will be performing at SYNERGY.

Kicking off the week, SYNERGY for Corporate Legal, Tax and Trade will feature essential insights to help corporations stay ahead of the curve and navigate the rapidly changing business environment. In addition, attendees will hear from Steve Hasker, President and CEO, Thomson Reuters, on the state of the industry and how the company is incorporating generative AI to build technology for the future with more than $100M invested annually.

“We are delighted to welcome our customers and stakeholders from all around the world for 2023 SYNERGY. This year’s event promises to be innovative and impactful, providing specialized sessions around ONESOURCE, Checkpoint, Legal Tracker, HighQ, and other products within our suite,” said Laura Clayton McDonnell, President, Corporates Segment, Thomson Reuters. “This is one of the best opportunities of the year to discuss the topics that matter most to corporate leaders and their clients – especially as the tax, trade, and legal landscape continue to evolve through regulatory changes and economic challenges.”

During SYNERGY for Tax and Accounting Professionals beginning on November 8, attendees can choose from 165 unique breakout sessions, participate in product demos, and interact with sponsor booths. This year at SYNERGY, Thomson Reuters will also be showcasing its latest AI developments – attendees will experience AI presentations to preview how generative AI will transform how they work and the work they do. Participants will also have the opportunity to connect with product managers directly to contribute feedback and gain even more insight at dedicated AI kiosks in the SYNERGY Village. Many of the sessions will provide insights on how firms can free up time to deliver more value, provide high-quality advice, and bridge the talent gap.

“Following the release of the Thomson Reuters Future of Professionals report this past August, we’ve discovered that professionals are continuously in need of improved productivity, responsible and accurate AI technologies, and organizational efficiency,” said Elizabeth Beastrom, President, Tax and Accounting Segment, Thomson Reuters. “SYNERGY 2023 will be the event to address these issues head-on and underscore how firms can leverage the power of technology to better serve their customers, the industry, and society at large.”

During both SYNERGY events, Thomson Reuters will celebrate award winners in categories of: Partner of the Year, Legal Innovator of the Year, Firm of the Year, Advisory Accelerator, Rookie of the Year, and more.

Thomson Reuters also welcomes the Platinum and Platinum Elite sponsors to the event – for Corporates Tax and Trade: BDO, Crowe, Deloitte, EY, Grant Thornton, KPMG, and Baker Tilly. For Tax and Accounting Professionals: Eckard Enterprises, Rightworks, and SafeSend.
