Thomson Reuters Audit Intelligence Analyze named a 2025 Top New Product by Accounting Today

TORONTO, February 27, 2025 – Thomson Reuters (TSX/Nasdaq: TRI), a global content and technology company, today announced that its latest AI-powered auditing solution has been recognized as a 2025 Top New Product by Accounting Today

Audit Intelligence Analyze is celebrated in the ‘Audit Tools’ category of the 2025 list for its ability to help auditors quickly and accurately test and assess client records to identify anomalies using AI. The solution uses AI and machine learning to help auditors focus on high-risk areas by segmenting audit testing populations based on risk level and reducing the overall number of items to be tested.

Dave Wyle, general manager of Audit at Thomson Reuters, says: “This recognition from Accounting Today is a testament to our commitment to empowering auditors with best-in-class, trusted solutions. We are proud to be at the forefront of audit innovation, delivering cutting-edge solutions that transform the way our customers work. With Audit Intelligence Analyze, our customers can halve sample sizes, saving valuable time. This is transformational in terms of efficiency gains for both auditors and their clients.”

Audit Intelligence Analyze is integrated into both Thomson Reuters Cloud Audit Suite and directly into audit methodologies and workflows. Following its successful launch in the United States in September 2024, the company is set to unveil its next innovation from the AI-powered suite. Audit Intelligence Test will further automate audit processes by auto-matching the supporting evidence of samples for testing. This new solution is expected to launch in the second half of 2025, following an early adopter program in the spring.
